Perspective acquires Wiltshire IFA Jones Hill
Fast-growing Financial Planner Perspective Financial Group has acquired Wiltshire-based financial adviser Jones Hill, adding £44m in assets.
The acquisition is Perspective’s 36th since it was founded in 2008 and its first since CBPE Capital LLP’s investment in the business in December 2019.
Jones Hill will become part of Perspective’s established Marlborough office but will retain its office in Bradford on Avon.
Jones Hill was founded in 1996 in Trowbridge before moving to Bradford on Avon in 2014. Managing director Brian Hill will exit the business but Jones Hill’s other staff will transfer to Perspective.
Jones Hill has established a niche in advising ex-military personnel and their families. It currently advises 160 clients and manages £44m of client assets.
Two members of the Jones Hill team will join Perspective’s in- house Training Academy where they will work towards advanced Financial Planning qualifications.
Ian Wilkinson, chief executive of Perspective, said: “This acquisition is consistent with our overall growth strategy to acquire quality client banks from IFAs looking to retire or exit the industry, local to our existing office network, as well as opening new hubs in other carefully selected locations.”
Jones Hill managing director Brian Hill said: “After 15 years in Financial Planning, I felt it was the right time to seek new challenges.
“It is testament to a shared ethos that we completed the entire process during lockdown and turbulent market conditions.”
Perspective has 15 offices in the UK with 180 staff and 18,000 clients.”
