AXA Elevate has added Barnett Waddingham to its platform, allowing advisers to use the Elevate investment options with the Barnett Waddingham Sipp.

Barnett Waddingham is a UK firm of actuaries and consultants as well as a provider of Sipps and specialist pension plans.

It was formed in 1989 and currently has over 500 staff based at seven locations around the UK.

The Elevate platform also allows existing tax wrappers to be retained while offering an investment model between discretionary management and a simplistic model portfolio approach.

This means advisers can use whichever model portfolio they deem as most suitable for them.

David Thompson, managing director of AXA Wealth UK distributors, said: “Elevate is a core component of the AXA Wealth proposition and the addition of the Barnett Waddingham Sipp will allow advisers to make the most of Elevate’s online flexibility without losing any of the Sipp benefits.”
