Expanding Chartered Financial Planning firm Wills & Trusts has launched its own firm of solicitors and is planning to launch an accountancy business later this year.

The firm says the new law business, Wills & Trusts Solicitors, will expand its range of services and could mean probate services are 30% cheaper than ‘conventional law firms’ by cutting out legal outsourcing.

Wills & Trusts has recruited more staff for its new law firm.

Sophie Cisler joined the firm earlier this year as compliance officer for the legal practice. She is a qualified solicitor, specialising in private client services such as lifetime and estate tax planning, wills, trust administration and probate. Legal executive Charlotte Taheri has also been appointed and specialises in probate.

The firm currently has offices in Thame, Oxfordshire and Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire. A third office in Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire, is on the way later this year.

Wills & Trusts specialises in providing Financial Planning to families and says it has expanded with a law firm to broaden its range of services to help families both financially and legally.

Later in the year the company plans to launch Wills & Trusts Accounting in September to further expand its services.

As well as advising on estates, trusts and succession planning, the company says it can now also help with probate and more aspects of wills and trusts.

Wills & Trusts Solicitors will be regulated by the SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority).

Chief operating officer Stuart Payne said: “Our ultimate plan is to make Wills & Trusts the one-stop shop for protecting families’ futures.”

“We are in quite a unique position to be able to offer these combined legal and wealth management services, and we are one of the few firms in the UK with Chartered Financial Planning status and with a separate firm of solicitors regulated by the SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority).

“We anticipate that, by cutting out the need to outsource and the subsequent margins, our probate services are approximately 30% cheaper than conventional law firms.”
