Ethical Chartered Financial Planner and wealth manager EQ Investments has strengthened its employee benefits proposition with a new hire.

EQ Workplace, the employee benefits arm of EQ Investors, has appointed Martin Leigh as corporate pensions & risk benefits account manager.

Mr Leigh joined from Creative Employee Benefits where he was an account manager.

Prior to this, he worked for B&CE and Aviva.

In his new role, Mr Leigh will work closely with Vanda Cox, who leads the EQ Workplace team, to deliver services to its portfolio of corporate clients.

Ms Cox, director of EQ Workplace, said: “Martin brings his broad experience and expertise across the spectrum of group pensions and employee benefits and gives the team the capacity to take on further clients. 

“His appointment testifies to our ambition to grow our employee benefits division.”

Mr Leigh added: “I am delighted to be joining EQ Workplace, and will be drawing on my account management experience to build new and develop existing relationships with our corporate clients – ensuring that they benefit from the full scope of the EQ offering.”
