The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment revealed the winners of its 2018 Financial Planning Awards at its Annual Financial Planning Conference Gala Dinner on Monday evening (1 Oct).

The awards were presented by the Financial Planning professional body at the Hilton Metropole Birmingham at the NEC before a black tie Gala Dinner audience of 300 attendees.

The Gala Dinner was one of the highlights of the two day conference taking place this week at the Hilton Metropole, venue for the 2018 Financial Planning Conference.

The award winners included: 

• Accredited Financial Planning Firm of the Year -

WINNER: Acumen Financial Planning 

• Certified Financial Planner of the Year -

WINNER: Graham Wingar CFP

• Paraplanner of the Year Award -

WINNER: Rebecca Tuck APP

• David Norton Building Excellence Award -

WINNER: Balance Wealth Planning

• Tony Sellon ‘Good Egg’ Award

WINNER: Diane Weitz CFP

There were also awards for the 20+ exhibitors attending the event with the Best Stand Innovation Award going to Royal London for its 'living room'-style stand. The winner of the Best Education Stand award was i4c.
