Financial Planners and Paraplanners are gearing up to find out if they have become one of the winners of a range of prestigious awards tonight at the IFP annual conference.
The gala dinner and awards ceremony, to be hosted by BBC news presenter Steph McGovern, will take place after 7pm at Celtic Manor.
The David Norton Award is among the gongs up for grabs, along with Certified Financial Planner professional of the year, which will be handed out for only the second time.
The IFP will also reveal the Paraplanner of the Year and branch chairman of the year for 2015.
Hundreds of delegates are set to enjoy a three course dinner and entertainment as part of the gala and awards evening.
IFP president Alan Dick CFPCM wrapped up day two of the IFP annual conference in Celtic Manor following the keynote speech by Dr James Rouse, founder of Optimum Wellness Media.
Referencing Dr Rouse’s call to ‘be raucous’, he said of tonight’s gala dinner: “It’s now time to relax. Hopefully we can create a raucous but so much of a raucous that we get barred as we’re meant to be back here next year!”
The last day of the conference takes place tomorrow.
