An IFP corporate member has joined forces with leading Paraplanners to boost the growing phenomenon that is the Paraplanners Powwow.
Prudential has pledged its support to the events, which have begun to spread across the country.
The original event was designed to be an unconventional conference for Paraplanning professionals. It was held outdoors in teepees in the countryside in 2013 and has since spawned a series of other Powwows.
The latest branch off is the Powwow North of the Border, to be held in Edinburgh, which was announced at the end of January.

Powwow chiefs expressed their delight that Prudential has become a supporter for the third national Paraplanners Powwow, which is due to be held in September, and also the mini-Powwows.
Powwow founder, Richard Allum, told the Powwow website: "Without supporters like Prudential it wouldn't be possible to stage the national Powwow and support the organisation of mini-Powwows around the country.
"Organisations aren't able to sponsor Powwows like more traditional events. There are no promotions or exhibition stands or things like that. So it takes an enlightened brand, who are really interested and willing to listen and learn from Paraplanners, to recognise the enormous value of taking part in the Powwows. We're over the moon to count Prudential among those brands."
Vince Smith-Hughes, Prudential's head of business development, said: "Paraplanners are a critical part of the advice chain and becoming increasingly more important. Powwows are a great way for attendees to share information in an informal setting and we are pleased to be able to sponsor these events."
Prudential's support is effective immediately and comes ahead of a Powwow double in March: Two Powwows taking place on the same day, at the same time in different parts of the UK.
Powwow in the Middle, organised by Rachel Kitching and Caroline Stuart, and the first-ever event in Scotland, Powwow North of the Border, organised by Colin Stewart and Susan Pringle, will take place at 5pm on Thursday 5 March.
