Investec Wealth & Investment has combined its Financial Planning services and launched a wealth planning service.

Michelle Holgate and Sarhraz Hafeji have been appointed as co-heads of the combined Financial Planning division and recently launched wealth planning service.

Ms Holgate has worked with a range of high net worth individuals in the UK and offshore with over 17 years in the Financial Planning and wealth management profession.

Mr Hafeji has spent the last 17 years of his 21 year career in financial services at Investec where he was part of the senior leadership team pivotal in growing Investec’s advice services.

The launch of the newly combined Financial Planning and wealth planning services follows strong growth in the advice area for the investment provider. In its latest financial year end results, released last month, the wealth and investment business in UK and Europe for the Investec Group had increased its operating profit by 18% to £74.3m.
