Maven Wealth Management, the Welsh hub of Financial Planners and wealth managers Independent Wealth Planners (IWP) has recruited highly experienced Financial Planner Gareth Tregidon CFP as head of Financial Planning.

Mr Tregidon, a Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Wealth Manager, has nearly 30 years’ experience in financial advice at both regional and national businesses. 

He joins Maven from a national wealth management business. Prior to this, he ran the Financial Planning arm of one of South Wales’ largest regional accountancy firms, based in Swansea.   

He is a regular contributor to the work of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and has been a senior assessor/examiner for the CFP licence since 2008.  He was also branch chairman of the Institute of Financial Planning (IFP) in South Wales from 2006 to 2011 before its merger with the CISI.

• Leicester-headquartered Smith Cooper Independent Financial Services (SCIFS), a member of the Smith Cooper group, has hired Chartered Financial Planner Mufaddal Travadi.

He joins from Hargreaves Lansdown where he has spent over eight years as a financial adviser. He has also spent time at Skipton Financial Services and Santander.
