MFP Wealth Management first firm to be awarded new industry standard
Dorset-based MFP Wealth Management, led by Justin King CFPCM, has become the first UK Financial Planning firm to be awarded new British Standard BS8577.
The accreditation is specifically for Financial Planning and advisory firms and requires firms to deliver fair, transparent and professional interaction with clients.
Mr King was also awarded the Personal Financial Planning Standard ISO22222.
Mr King said: "Our clients can have confidence in our ability to consistently deliver a high quality of service because we are adhering to the incredibly high standards of professionalism and technical competence, backed up by robust systems and processes, that BS8577 demands."
BS8577 was developed by industry experts and consumer representatives including Standards International, British Standards Institute and Which? consumer group.
