The Personal Finance Society (PFS) has revealed details of the programme for its Purely Paraplanning 2025 conference which takes place in central London on 7 May.

The 40,000-member professional body, which awards the Chartered Financial Planner designation, said the programme was tailored to the changing needs of Paraplanners.

Industry experts will cover topics such as inheritance tax changes, sustainability, vulnerability and personal development.

The conference will be hosted by two members of the PFS Paraplanning Panel – Luke Sparkes, Professional Paraplanner of the Year 2024 and Zara Okoro, who focuses on creating more opportunities for Paraplanners to collaborate and contribute to the Financial Planning process.

Keynote speakers include coach Rebecca Timmins, who supports Financial Planning firms with delivering client value, and Chartered Financial Planner Zoe Taylor, who combines technical and soft skills.

Sessions so far confirmed will include:

• Rewriting your assumptions – a Paraplanner's guide to self-investment
• Rewrapping client wealth – rewriting the traditional wealth building story
• Succeeding in Paraplanning – panel discussion with the PFS Paraplanning Panel

The event offers nearly 7 hours of CPD and will also provide time for networking.
