Punter Southall Aspire has added Vince Molloy and Simon Ashby to its Chartered Financial Planning arm.

Chartered Financial Planner Mr Molloy joins the team in Poole, Dorset.

He joins from Threshold Financial Services and specializes in investment strategies, retirement planning, inheritance tax and succession planning. He has 20 years of experience.

Mr Ashby joins the team in Bedford.

He will be supporting clients with pensions, retirement planning, investments, and inhertance tax planning.

Both said they were attracted to the Chartered Financial Planning firm due to its client portfolio, company culture, and ongoing expansion.

Punter Southall Aspire has expanded its Financial Planning business over the past four years through organic growth and acquisitions of regional Financial Planning firms including Focus Oxford LLP, JDP Financial Services in Bedford and Coleman Financial Services Limited in Dorset.

Other recent hires for the Financial Planner and retirement adviser include James Kempson FPFS from Investec Wealth who joined as principal of its Bedford office. 

Punter Southall Aspire is an employee benefits firm with a Financial Planning arm. It is part of employee-owned firm Punter Southall. The firm has around £4.3bn in assets under advice and 140 employees.

Other companies within the Punter Southall group include pension trustee company Punter Southall Governance Services, law firm Punter Southall Law, protection arm Guardian, and data company Camradata.

Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management (CGWM) recently acquired Punter Southall’s former wealth management arm, Punter Southall Wealth which specializes in high-net-worth individuals, in a deal worth £164m. 

The deal completed earlier this year.

CGWM is currently transitioning Punter Southall Wealth clients over to the CGWM brand.
