The soon-to-be-published VouchedFor’s 2025 Guide to Top Rated Financial Advisers will feature a record 2,633 advisers and 131 firms.

VouchedFor, which collates reviews of financial advisers, says the number of advisers is up 20% on last year and there is a 17% increase in qualifying firms.

The guide will be distributed in The Times on Saturday and The Telegraph on 25 June.

In total, VouchedFor expects the Guide, backed by fund manager Blackrock and platform Fundment, to reach more than 3 million consumers.

VouchedFor claims it is the UK’s largest consumer campaign celebrating the value of advice. 

The Guide will share positive client stories and resources to help people understand the value of advice and lists the advisers and firms who meet the qualification criteria, VouchedFor said.

The criteria for inclusion include being a VouchedFor member, which involves undergoing a series of checks.

Alex Whitson, managing director at VouchedFor, said: “Lack of trust remains one of the main reasons why people who need advice don't engage with it. This is frustrating as 98% of clients say they'd recommend their adviser.

“More needs to be done to share these client stories and so it's great to see a record number of advisers embracing client feedback and qualifying for the Top Rated Guide.

“This year's campaign will reach millions of consumers, helped by the support of asset manager BlackRock and adviser platform Fundment.”
