Tax adviser and wealth manager Smith & Williamson has recruited experienced investment professional Jules Porter from Investec for its Guildford office.

He will be a director in the firm’s Guildford office, working with the investment management team.

He joins from Investec and has worked in the sector for 25 years, specialising in discretionary investment management for individuals, families and family trusts and charities.

His main area of expertise is constructing and managing bespoke portfolios, says the firm.

Based in the centre of Guildford, the investment management team works alongside specialists in pensions, Financial Planning, tax and accountancy.  Clients include individuals, businesses, trusts and charities.
