Members of the Institute of Financial Planning can now use Standard Life Investments training system to update their CPD.

The IFP sponsor firm’s Learning Gateway, a free online training system, has linked with the IFP’s online CPD platform to benefit users.

Users who complete a tutorial on Learning Gateway will have their CPD records automatically updated to help them reach their CPD requirement.

Any adviser who wants to continue providing advice must undertake 21 hours of CPD per year from 2013.

There are currently over 130 free training tutorials to choose from covering investment, business and compliance topics.
