Financial Planner and wealth manager Tilney Smith & Williamson has appointed Francesca Allard as a Financial Planning associate director.

She joins from James Hambro & Partners where she was an associate Financial Planner for five years.

She has a Level 4 Financial Planning Diploma and is working towards Chartered status.

She specialises in working with discretionary investment managers and advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Ms Allard said: “I am extremely pleased to be joining Tilney Smith & Williamson at such an exciting and dynamic time for the business. I am looking forward to working in the financial planning team, to complement the firm’s strong investment management offering, and aim to deliver results to meet our clients’ financial objectives and help them successfully navigate through these particularly volatile and uncertain times.”

She has joined the Financial Planning firm’s London team.

Tilney Smith & Williamson is to rebrand as Evelyn Partners this summer.

The rebrand was announced with the firm’s financial results at the start of this month. 

Tilney Smith & Williamson said the new brand was chosen following research among clients and staff and reflects the fact the business is now one firm “with a single purpose”.

The name Evelyn Partners was inspired by the start of the expansion of Tilney from its regional beginnings in 1883 with the launch of an office in Evelyn Gardens, London.

Bestinvest will be retained as a separate brand and will become known as Bestinvest by Evelyn Partners.
