A former HSBC private client adviser has been snapped up by Financial Planning firm Towry.
Simon Hewitt has been handed the role of Financial Planner and wealth manager in its Knutsford team.
He has over six years’ experience in financial services, having worked previously as an independent financial adviser.
He joins Towry, which is part of the Tilney Bestinvest Group, following his most recent role at HSBC where he worked closely with private clients – predominantly business directors and owners – within the company’s commercial banking relationship.
Mr Hewitt said: “With recent combination of Towry and Tilney, this is a really exciting time to be joining the business.
"Both Towry and Tilney have a strong stance on placing the client at the heart of all they do with a very professional approach to supporting their clients and like-minded business colleagues. It was for these reasons I was drawn to the business.”
Ann-Marie Atkins, Towry’s managing partner, Financial Planning, said: “Simon has a proven track record in financial services and of developing relationships with new and existing clients. He will be a great addition to our growing team in Knutsford.”
