Expert Wealth becomes CISI Accredited Planning Firm
The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has awarded Accredited Financial Planning Firm status to Oxford-based Expert Wealth Management.
The firm joins 69 other CISI Accredited Financial Planning Firms.
For a firm to become an AFPF it must meet a number of criteria including the clear provision of a full financial service for clients including cashflow modelling, a consistent fee structure communicated clearly to clients and a business structure that reflects a “clear fiduciary responsibility.”
Firms must also show awareness by all staff of the firm’s Financial Planning service and how it differs from financial advice, use Paraplanner support and at least 50% of the firm’s FCA registered advisers must be qualified as a Certified Financial Planners with AF5 level reached. At least one director/partner of the firm must also be a current CFP professional.
