A Financial Planning firm aims to gain a technological advantage over its competitors by hiring its first ever IT Director.
West country based firm Old Mill has appointed James Gifford, 41, to the newly created role.
He has previously held senior IT positions at RSM Tenon and Baker Tilly.

Mr Gifford said he is looking forward to helping Old Mill improve their use of technology to generate a competitive advantage.
He said: "I felt my skills and experience were an ideal fit for their aspirations to generate additional value and efficiencies from their technology investments, and make the most of the latest information technologies available to improve client service."
