Accredited Firm of the Year winner announced
Fiscal Engineers has emerged as the winner after a three way battle to be crowned as Accredited Firm of the Year.
The firm has been officially named tonight as the victor as part of the IFP annual conference gala evening.
The award seeks to recognise the firm which has made the most outstanding contribution to the profession over the past year.
Steve Gazzard CFPCM, chief executive of the IFP, said the quality of those reaching the interview stage was "incredibly high".
Mr Gazzard said: "The judging panel of Rebecca Taylor CFP FIFP, Janet Walford OBE, Brett Davidson and myself had a really tough job to shortlist let alone select a winner."
Finalists invited to interview this year were Carbon Financial, Bloomsbury Wealth and Fiscal Engineers – with the latter two being finalists in 2013.
The firms faced a grilling on their financials and their contribution to the profession over the past year.

Mr Gazzard said: "Each demonstrated great innovation focused on client service plus huge support for the sharing of best practice, combined with excellent financial performance.
"Consequently it came down to the interviews where Fiscal Engineers came out on top based on their continued support for the profession, financial strength and a range of recent developments across their client facing proposition and back office integration.
"All three deserve congratulations, with special plaudits going to Fiscal Engineers."
As well as the trophy and prize, the winning firm receives "considerable kudos and increased recognition across the profession", the IFP said.
The award was sponsored by IRESS.
