Peter Quinton joins The Retirement Partnership as acting MD
The Retirement Partnership has appointed annuity expert Peter Quinton as acting managing director, taking over the key role from founder Steve Lewis who will become chairman while taking up a new senior position with LV=.
The Retirement Partnership was set up to offer a range of free information and services to professional financial advisers, and professional consultancy services to providers and advisers operating in the fast-growing retirement sector. It has grown to become a resource on retirement options, using innovative technology to inform and educate its 3,000 plus registered IFAs.
Peter Quinton has been a influential figure in the retirement market for more than 25 years, most recently in his ongoing role as acting chairman of the Annuity Clearing House (ACH) which is an annuity placement and administration service for IFAs (see www.theach.co.uk ). He founded The Annuity Bureau in 1993 and was managing director until its sale in 2004, and then was a founding director of fixed-term annuity innovator Living Time.
