New membership programme for Financial Planners and advisers
The Enterprise Investment Scheme Association has launched a new free membership programme especially for Financial Planners and regulated advisers.
EISA’s new Financial Planning Programme aims to provide those in the Financial Planning profession with a forum to represent their views at the highest policy levels, as well an up-to-date industry news portal.
Financial Planning Programme members will get access to online resources, workshops and training sessions, industry research and discounts with a range of EISA partners, including on professional indemnity insurance.
EISA says it provides a platform for all advisory firms to “get their voice heard by policymakers and stakeholders governing the EIS/SEIS advice market.”
Mark Brownridge, director general of the EISA, commented on the launch: “Our mission statement is to support and promote policies and initiatives that facilitate the smooth flow of risk equity capital from private individuals to smaller companies thereby benefiting the UK economy.
“The Financial Planning Programme will encourage Financial Planners, wealth managers and regulated advisers to play a more active role in this increasingly mainstream sector, as well as give them the opportunity to influence policymakers and stakeholders at the highest levels.
“EIS and SEIS fulfil much needed roles in encouraging private investment into growing British companies, so ensuring that voices from the financial planning community are heard alongside those of investors and SMEs is crucial.”
