Chancellor Rishi Sunak has outlined plans for the UK’s first Sovereign Green Bond, as part of plans to make the UK attractive to financial services firms after Brexit.

The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has appointed St James’s Place Paraplanner Sally Plant as its new head of Financial Planning.

CII narrows gender pay and pension gaps

The median gender pay and pension gaps at the Chartered Insurance Institute have narrowed in the last 12 months, the financial professional body has reported.

The Financial Ombudsman Service has so far received over 10,000 Covid-19-related complaints, according to its quarterly report out today.

The Financial Services Compensation Scheme declared 45 firms in default between May and October, including several Financial Planning, SIPP and wealth management firms.
