FCA appeals for evidence as Connaught probe opens

The FCA has appealed for people affected by the collapse of Connaught Income Fund Series 1, which went into administration in 2012 and cost investors £100m, to come forward to help the investigation.

I must confess I always had reservations about the Pension Freedoms when they were introduced by George Osborne in 2015 and the latest FCA figures seem to back up comments I made at the time.

Profession stops £4.5m of fraud a day in H1 2019

Fraud worth £820m was stopped in the first half of 2019, up 14% on the previous year, according to the latest figures from UK Finance.
