Fast-growing wealth manager and Financial Planner AFH Group has appointed ex-Tavistock group operations director Jon Dear as its new chief operating officer.

AFH Financial Group, the rapidly growing wealth manager founded by a Chartered Financial Planner, has bought a Hull-based financial advisory group for £10m in its largest ever acquisition, the group says.

Consolidator AFH has snapped up a Kent-based IFA firm CWP Financial in an £840,000 deal.

AFH, the Financial Planning-led wealth management firm, expects its revenue for the full year to top £50m for the first time, up 49% year on year.
