Aegon’s UK retail platforms saw outflows fall to £38m for the fourth quarter of 2021.

Aegon has reported a sharp rise in platform assets in the first half to £140bn as it completed its integration with acquisition Cofunds.

Aegon is shaking up its senior manager team, amid the integration of Cofunds and BlackRock’s UK Defined Contribution platform and administration business.

The percentage of financial advisers putting all their business on platforms is up 45% to 16% in the last year but many advisers are unhappy with service levels, according to a report from data provider Defaqto.
