Investors in failed mini-bond firm London Capital & Finance (LCF) have withdrawn their judicial review appeal against the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

The Court of Appeal has upheld findings of breaches against illegal pension introducers Alexandra Associates (UK) Limited trading as Avacade Future Solutions (AA), and Craig and Lee Lummis in a case brought by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

Options UK Personal Pensions (formerly Carey UK Pensions) has sought permission from the Supreme Court to appeal the recent judgment by the Court of Appeal in the long-running and pivotal Adams v Carey SIPP case.

Unlike the original judgment in the Adams v Carey/Options case we did not have to wait over two years for the Court of Appeal’s decision which came last week.
