A fraudster who targeted a pension company and banks has been jailed for three years for making £178,000-worth of fake applications to get pension facilities and loans.

Three crooks who laundered funds fraudulently obtained from 350 people tricked into investing more than £12m in a boiler room fraud were sentenced on Friday.

Crispin Odey, the 62-year-old founding partner of Odey Asset Management, has been cleared of indecent assault at Westminster Magistrates Court today.
