The wealth arm of personal injury legal firm Irwin Mitchell has reached the milestone of £1bn of assets under management this week.

Former Cazenove head of Financial Planning David Austin has joined the wealth management arm of law firm Irwin Mitchell as a non-executive director.

The man branded the 'mastermind' behind a £13.7m pension scam has been banned from being a trustee of pension schemes and a company director.
