More than one in five are saving or investing less because they cannot access advice on how to handle their money, research for Nottingham Building Society showed.

New research has found that 21% of adults say they would be put away an extra £134 a month on average if they could get financial advice – the equivalent of more than £1,600 per annum.

A growing building society is encouraging more of its 100,000 members to access Financial Planning advice as part of a new member benefit drive.
