Robin Beer has today taken over today as chief executive of wealth manager and Financial Planner Brewin Dolphin. 

Wealth manager Brewin Dolphin saw a surge in income from Financial Planning in the half year ended in March despite a slip overall in profits and plans to cut costs.

Wealth manager and Financial Planner Brewin Dolphin has reported total funds under management down 14.6% to £41.4bn in the last six months but says demand for financial advice is up.

Wealth manager and Financial Planner Brewin Dolphin has appointed Robin Beer, managing director of investment solutions and distribution, as its new chief executive to replace retiring current chief executive David Nicol.
