The chief executive of Standard Life Aberdeen’s platforms businesses, Noel Butwell, has admitted that the firm has not listened to advisers due to being distracted by internal projects.

Standard Life is to move 120 service staff working for its Elevate platform to support provider FNZ.

Standard Life says it has made “significant enhancements” to its recently-acquired Elevate platform including a new business process and improved functionality aimed at cutting down on the time taken to use the service.
