The Scottish Widows Platform, the new name for The Embark Platform, has been launched today.

The sale of failed firm Rowanmoor Personal Pensions Limited (RPPL) to SIPP and SSAS provider Alltrust completed on Friday 3 March 2023 following exchange of contracts in December 2022. 

The Association of Member-Directed Pension Schemes (AMPS), the industry body for SIPP and SSAS providers, has selected Andrew Phipps, senior propositions manager at Embark Group, as its new chairman.
