FCA chief executive Andrew Bailey has written to MPs promising to improve the quality of data on the FCA Register amid fears over the volume of incorrect information being provided to consumers.

The FCA has revealed plans to change how it calculates the scale of regulatory levies for next year and 2020.

The FCA says it is planning to make regular changes and updates to its trial ‘Find an Adviser’ search function which was recently added to its FCA Register.

The FCA is testing a search function on its well-used official FCA Register which allows consumers to search for a firm of advisers near them.
