Former West Ham United footballer Ryan Briggs has launched a not-for-profit financial education service to support mental health and financial wellbeing in sport.

Most pupils leave school missing the money skills they will need, according to new research from the government-backed Money and Pensions Service (MAPS).

A school in Bolton has become one of the first accredited Centres of Excellence for Financial Education thanks to funding from a partnership between wealth manager St James’s Place and Young Enterprise.
