The next generation of Financial Planners is at last coming from a wider range of backgrounds, including graduate entry and that, mostly, is a very good thing.

Four out of 10 Financial Planners enter the profession after graduate-level education, according to research by the Personal Finance Society and the Chartered Insurance Institute.

The Openwork Partnership, one of the UK’s largest financial advice networks, has expanded its graduate recruitment scheme to its wider business functions and announced the recruitment of an additional 15 graduates.

Adviser network Openwork has seen the first 19 graduates join its newly-launched Graduate Wealth Pathway Scheme this week.
