Experienced adviser and former Paraplanner Richard Lent DipPFS has joined national IFA Continuum as a financial adviser in the West Midlands.

Fund manager the Marlborough Group has taken a “significant’ stake in national IFA and Chartered Financial Planner firm Truly Independent to back its growth plans.

Three directors - two of them IFAs - have been fined and disqualified as directors over a £44m SIPP mis-selling scheme.
