Wealth manager and Financial Planner Charles Stanley’s chief global strategist John Redwood MP has been knighted in the New Year Honours and former Virgin Money chief executive Jayne-Anne Gadhia has been made a dame.

Virgin Money has been bought by the owner of Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank in a £1.7bn deal, creating a combined customer base of 6m people.
