John Govett has resigned as chief executive of the new Money and Pensions Service, the government-backed single financial guidance agency, two months after it was officially launched.

The Pensions Advice Taskforce is to launch a new consumer guide for DB pension transfers.

The newly launched Money and Pensions Service has called on organisations throughout the UK to get involved in the development of the organisation’s strategy to improve the nation’s financial wellbeing.

The Single Financial Guidance Body (SFGB) began its work this week as it starts to take over from previous bodies.
