James Hay and Saunderson House both boosted assets in the first quarter on 2019, according to a trading update from parent company IFG.

Private equity firm Epiris has made a recommended cash offer of £206m for IFG Group, owner of Sipp and platform provider James Hay and wealth manager and Financial Planner Saunderson House.

Client wins at platform and SIPP provider James Hay fell 22% in the first 10 months of the year according to parent company IFG’s latest trading update.

James Hay has blamed volatility and platform market performance after it suffered a client win dip of more than 14%.
