Platform and SIPP provider AJ Bell has warned that the delayed Pensions Dashboards - a key plank of government pensions policy - are in limbo until the government signals a new timetable.

The Pensions Scams Industry Group (PSIG), the voluntary body set up to support trustees, providers and administrators in combating pension scams, has launched an ‘Interim Practitioner Guide’ which details the key due diligence steps to undertake when assessing a pension transfer. 

The Pensions Dashboards Programme delay announced last week is “deeply frustrating”, according to a former pensions minister.

In a surprise move today, the Government has backed a Private Members’ Bill which will extend auto-enrolment (AE) pensions to millions more younger people and low earners.
