Fund manager the Marlborough Group has taken a “significant’ stake in national IFA and Chartered Financial Planner firm Truly Independent to back its growth plans.

London-based The Marlborough Group has appointed Mike Mumford as business development manager for the firm’s discretionary fund management business, Marlborough Investment Management.

DFM Marlborough Group has acquired a stake in National IFA Continuum.
