A major survey of adults in the UK has revealed their widespread concerns about managing their parents’ finances.

A survey carried out for Talk Money Week, which launches today, has found that half of parents struggle to talk about money with their children.

Over £293bn has been earmarked for younger generations by generous parents and grandparents, with more choosing to gift earlier as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.

New research has revealed that parents have been the key savings ‘influencers’ for 21m Britons who have learned long-term habits from their parents.
