The Pensions Dashboards have been hugely delayed, already cost millions in development costs, are years behind schedule and many have written them off as a disaster.

Pensions and investment provider Aegon has urged the FCA to consider giving financial advisers a bigger role in the Pensions Dashboards to help clients make “better decisions.”

Pensions Dashboards, the government's overdue scheme to provide consumers with an all-in-one location for pensions plans, should be expanded to include guidance to help consumers with their decision making, according to the Society of Pension Professionals (SPP).

The Department for Work and Pensions has published an updated timetable for occupational pension schemes and personal and stakeholder providers to be connected to the Pensions Dashboard.
