Integrafin, the parent company of adviser platform Transact, has reported advised client numbers rose to a record 231,581 in the three months to the end of March.

Wealth and investment manager Quilter has introduced some changes to its platform, including a new pension top-up service which will let clients make lump sum top-ups into an existing collective retirement account.

Advisers placed £1.4bn of new business onto the Quilter platform in the fourth quarter of 2023, according to a trading update from the wealth manager.

Nucleus Financial Platforms chief commercial officer Alex Kovach will step down at the end of the year and be replaced by the group’s chief financial officer Mike Regan, subject to regulatory approval.
