Inheritance tax remains the top financial concern among wealthy Britons, followed by gifting without losing control and maintaining lifestyles, according to research from RBC Wealth Management.

Royal Bank of Canada today completed its £1.6bn takeover of wealth manager and Financial Planner Brewin Dolphin with the company now renamed RBC Brewin Dolphin.

Wealth manager Brewin Dolphin reported Financial Planning income up 24.6% year-on-year to £23.8m in the six months ending 31 March, driven by higher fund levels and demand for advice.

RBC Wealth Management has become the latest firm to support the WealthiHer Network, a campaign group aiming to change the wealth management sector’s attitudes to women and money.
