Rathbone Brothers Plc, the investment manager and Financial Planning group, has changed its name to Rathbones Group Plc with effect from today. 

Investment firm and wealth manager Rathbone Brothers has acquired Financial Planner Saunderson House for £150m.

Newly-merged Financial Planner and wealth manager Tilney Smith & Williamson has appointed the former chief digital and information officer at the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP), Mayank Prakash, as chief technology officer.
