The UK’s key financial regulators, the FCA, PRA and Treasury have today launched a sweeping review of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR).

The FCA has today published Consultation Paper CP20/10 on its plans to delay the sweeping new Certification Regime and Conduct Rules (SM&CR) until March 2021.

The FCA will launch an enhanced Financial Services Register later this month to replace the existing register.

The FCA has told firms that Senior Managers must consider the “emerging risks” from the Coronavirus outbreak.
