More than three-quarters of working adults have little idea how much the state pension is or when they can claim it, according to a new survey.

A Government scheme allowing people to fill gaps in their National Insurance records will come to an end on 5 April.

The Government has confirmed that the new State Pension will rise from April by £18.70 from £185.15 per week to £203.85.

Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has confirmed that the State Pension will rise in line with September's CPI inflation rate of 10.1%.
