Nineteen new financial firms have today joined the Treasury-backed Women in Finance Charter which now covers over 400 firms and 1 million employees.

A report for the Treasury-backed Women in Finance Charter suggests that women are continuing to gain more senior roles in financial services, with female executives now holding 35% of senior roles.

Over 400 financial services firms have signed up to support the Treasury’s Women in Finance Charter but there are signs the progress women have made into moving into more senior positions is beginning to plateau.

There is no doubt that the Treasury-backed Women in Finance Charter campaign has been a powerful engine of change when it comes to giving women better representation in senior management roles in financial services.
